Democrats’ Identity War: Progressives Rise as Trump Rewards the Rich and Starves the Poor
Democrats battle for their party’s soul as Trump secretly funnels billions to the rich while cutting food aid. This episode exposes the real economic war in America.
Topics covered on the show today.
The battle for America’s political soul is heating up again — not just in Washington, but in the heartlands of Michigan, Maine, and beyond. As Democrats face off over whether the party should move toward a bold, progressive future or cling to centrist caution, Donald Trump is quietly using the shadows of policy to reward his billionaire friends while millions lose food aid. Today on Politics Done Right, we connect the dots between the political duels shaping the Democratic Party’s identity and the stealth class warfare being waged through tax codes and corporate favoritism.

Beyond the choir: Let's stop doing the same thing over and over again, expecting a different results
It is said that insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. In this regard, being in a constant state of polarization is insanity. I put myself in a position to engage people of opposing ideologies virtually every day. It used to be very stressful internally, but over time, it has created a skin-thickening that …

I have been thinking about the last election BALLOT (there are decades of them but in 16 and 24 they seem to keep swirling in my head).
The country, for now, is a TWO PARTY SYSTEM, not three, not four, and forbid ONE, and anything other than those two parties leads to votes being sapped into the wrong bucket and much confusion.
We are MAGA and we are NOT MAGA. Maybe that's too simplistic but I believe it to be true. Voters are simplistic.
To tie the events and the dots together for Trump is a hard fought learning experience that I've come to think the ostrich is smarter!!
WTF is an actual Republican or Democrat?
Independents have done damage, think, Jill Stein.
Progressives are not on ballots per se like an independent. As listed.
So if we, unlike last BALLOT, where we had write ins, protest no shows, and non-serious BS from all over, thoughts on the collective action of keeping it two parties on the ballot for POTUS, at a minimum, and nothing else. PERIOD. Your thoughts would be appreciated should you find time.
I know it can't be stopped but should we focus more on keeping the narrative, as those who oppose MAGA, because we are repulsed by the insane repetition of outliers, centrists, establishment? Maybe I'm getting all this wrong.
I'm only asking because I read your stack but don't comment much.
I respect how you speak to everyone who wishes to engage, report on some of the various conversations, and inform how reactions, perceptions are changing or not.
I think it is serious enough to have dialogue about, because last night's CENTRIST whatever that is anymore, was really a low and I don't want the good to go down with the term "centrist" "establishment" anything, let alone Democrats, but how do we fix it?
There are no old guard REPUBLICANS so why call them that. They simply aren't.
MAGA has the narrative but are unpopular as heck but we are all believers in getting them out but in a one bucket, not ten, way.
I was pumped by Shapiro in a way I had never been, but in that Friday speech, he went to task on Vance. It made me pay attention and I've been on this for a decade as a person who was never a true follower of politics. So that says something to me.
Thanks for reading this if you got this far.
Have a good week.
