Deutsch's advice for Dems to win 2022. Dangers of Kyle Rittenhouse verdict. Confused America? Sacrificing workers?
Deutsch gives necessary advice Democrats better heed. The Rittenhouse verdict's dangerous. Why would America support politicians who harm them? A Neoliberal economist is willing to sacrifice workers.

The acquittal of Kyle Rittenhouse was hard on me. I imagine it was just as hard on fair-minded people. It continues to show that there are some of us that remain vulnerable in this society. But it is deeper because of many inferences that I discuss later in this newsletter. We have a lot of minds to enlighten and a lot of work to do to make this country the country that it purports to be.

Did you just call the Democrats weenies: Donny Deutsch great advice to Democrats to win 2022
A broken clock is correct twice a day and so is Donny Deutsch with his latest advice for Democrats, They should heed his sound advice.

I have a love/hate relationship with Donny Deutsch. I still remember his statement that upset many Progressives. I wrote then::
My concern is something I heard on Morning Joe when one of the panelists, Donny Deutsch, a purported Democrat & Liberal first said he would vote for Trump if a particular Democrat won the primary. Really. I've always made it clear I would be supporting the choice of Democrats. When Bernie lost in the 2016 primaries I made it clear at Daily KOS that I would be all-in to support Hillary and I worked my a$$ off for her.
I can sit and drink a cup of coffee with anyone who supports any candidate and still genuinely like the person. It is not hard to do that when one realizes that we live with people and not politicians. In fact, most politicians forget about us, the individual, soon after the election. Politics, Democracy ain't easy. I sure wish we did a better job teaching it in schools.
But Donny Deutsch redeemed himself many times since including giving some good advice subsequently. I wrote about this one that was on point and still is.
Donny Deutsch, a regular on Morning Joe panelist came up with a great marketing strategy for Democrats. The panel had nervous laughter when Donny was done with the presentation.
Deutsch is suggesting that Democrats tag every Republican with the "ASSAULT" moniker. As the party that is a protector of the ability to have assault weapons while not protecting healthcare and other life-saving social efforts, it is a pejorative that fits the bill.
Unlike Republicans making the word "LIBERAL" a pejorative that does not live up to the hype, "ASSAULT" does because one lives and sees the effects of their assaults in blood, flesh, tears, and pain.
But the action plan he laid out with Nicolle Wallace is more important than is immediately evident. How do we know that? Because Republicans have used it successfully. While they have not won every race, they have consistently overperformed their politically given the lackluster support for their non-policies.
Deutsch suggests that a well-designed army of well-liked and articulate politicians begin selling Biden's Build Back Better bill immediately. The bill is middle-class and poor people-centric. People will turn when they realize the Republicans will simply take it away.
Yes! A stopped clock is correct twice a day. Deutsch may have added another dimension because recently he has had some good advice.

The real danger of the Kyle Rittenhouse verdict is the consequences to these people.
Many see Kyle Rittenhouse as a guy who got off because he is white. But the consequences are much more significant as a message to POC's white allies.
Watch Politics Done Right TV here.
The event occurred at a protest for a police shooting of a black man, Jason Blake, in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Kyle Rittenhouse was nothing but a vigilante driving into town to scare, and now we know, the propensity to kill protestors.
What I found interesting is that many people I spoke to did not realize that Rittenhouse killed two white men. For that reason, the not-guilty verdict did not come as a surprise. To them, it was just modus operandi.
But the not-guilty verdict is more ominous because of what it implies. One can now infer that the purpose of the verdict has a message for white allies of people of color (POC).
While at Netroots Nation a few years ago in St. Luis, we marched along with BLM in a very peaceful protest to shut down the freeway going through downtown. When the police officer squad cars came racing down on the opposite side of the freeway, the BLM leaders called on all white allies to go to the front to face the police. Their whiteness was supposed to be the shield. After all, history teaches POCs that police respect white lives in America more so than others in the aggregate.
The Kyle verdict tells white allies a critical message, support people of color at your peril. Your whiteness will not protect you from black/POC police treatment. And if vigilantes show up, the bias remains against you. Two men are dead, and the killer walks free with a smile and the adoration of the Right and white supremacists.
My mother's statement holds true in a very interesting manner. If you sleep with dogs, you rise with fleas; just an analogy not to be taken literally.
So here is a message to our white allies, our white brothers and sisters. Fear not rising with fleas. This is the last gasp for those who strive for hate. Love is more pleasurable in the long run but often requires hard work to get there. So please, stay engaged and in battle with ALL of your brothers and sisters doing the work.

POLL: AMERICA’s CONFUSED: Love Biden’s policies but would elect Republicans who would repeal them.
A recent Quinnipiac poll shows America is confused. They may elect a party standing ready to screw them all.
Watch Politics Done Right TV here.
As one opens this particular Quinnipiac poll, it is evident that something is wrong with our psyche. We are confused. There is something to be said about critical thinking. And the lack thereof over the years in this country has made things progressively worse.
The day before the poll, I received a press release in my inbox stating that I should expect the new Quinnipiac poll. I must admit I did not expect it to be as bad for President Biden and the Democrats.
The bottom line is that the poll has Biden and the Democrats underwater by a bunch. And with the built-in Republican gerrymandering advantage, the numbers to some may seem insurmountable. But the poll also illustrated a dichotomy that still makes a Democratically positive 2022 outcome possible.
Biden Approval: Approve 36%/Disapprove
Party House Preference: Democratic 36%/Republican 46%.
Party Senate Preference: Democratic 40%/Republican 46%.
Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill: Support 57%/No Support 37%
Build Back Better Bill: Support 58%/No Support 38%
Tax the rich: Support 56%/No Support 36%
This poll shows a psychological problem with too many Americans. They are too easily driven by political spin. But worse is a media that allows politicians to create an always corporate-centric narrative that leaves the masses wanting what should be theirs.
Most disappointing are Democrats, their pundits, and Progressives' inability to put their message out in a form where they make Republicans and neoliberals the evil that they are. They actually hurt people. There is still time to set the record straight. It cannot be left up just Democratic politicians. It is all our job. We all have got to be engaging, inclusive, and going to where people are. I am trying to do my best with my program Politics Done Right. We can all do our part within our sphere of influence, whether in coffee shops, churches, synagogues, mosques, grocery stores, and everywhere else.
Neoliberal economist Larry Summers supports sacrificing 4% of workers to stave off benign inflation.
Larry Summers claims the American Rescue plan was ill-advised but still supports Build Back Better. He is half right.
Watch Politics Done Right TV here.
We should tire of these neoliberal economists. Their rhetoric is always inconsistent bearing little resemblance to reality. Ironically, the utterances from economists like Stephanie Kelton and others who understand Modern Monetary Theory (MMT) generally get disparaged by these charlatans. The thing is, the slack in our economy as MMT economists speak about is the exact reason we had no inflation of consequence over the last 40 years or so. Today's inflation is caused by yet another failure in the private sector, read supply chain issues, and outright profiteering. Companies are pseudo-monopolies with pricing power.
Now, Larry Summers is trying to blame inflation on the American Rescue Plan. He is looking at the wrong vector. The shortages from the supply chain are in distinct areas yet inflation seems to be broad-based. Again, it is just profiteering.
Larry Summers said in the interview in this clip that he teaches his class that inflation of the type we are currently having does not change one's standard of living. But he said paraphrasing that since Americans do not "feel" that concept he is willing to sacrifice some with unemployment to mitigate inflation. That is the nature of our economic system. Reality check: false choice.
