Quote from Michael Moore: "Renee Nicole Good was a prize-winning poet from a red state. She was the widow of a veteran. She was also raising her kids to be kind and compassionate. She did missionary work and sang in the church choir." She was unarmed, and had just dropped off her child at school. This cannot stand.
Thank you for this, Egberto. I am no longer physically able to participate in something like this, but I applaud those who can and do. Your reporting is important. I appreciate you and what you do.
I have been doing activism in Kingwood for decades. Cindi, the group you put together has put Kingwood activism on steroids. As I said, the movement will be led and fulfilled by women, as testosterone, toxic masculinity is killing us.
I appreciate you spotlighting an outlier location like Kingwood. It would be helpful to know how many protesters showed up for this event. A handful? Dozens? At a highly accessible location out to the west (21010 Katy Fwy, corner of Westgreen) we got well over 50 people, from toddlers and teens to geezers like me. Y'know, domestic terrorists.
