Here’s why the GOP Agenda opens the door for a huge 2022 Democratic win if they would lean in.
Former Rep. David Jolly (R-FL) points out that the Republican Party Agenda stands for nothing substantive for Americans, not even their voters. This opens the door for a huge 2022 Democratic win if Democrats and Progressives would lean into engaging the entire country in a robust and all-inclusive manner.
David Jolly explained the Republican agenda to Chris Hayes as follows.
Republicans don't care about your public health. They don't actually care about election integrity." David Jolly Said. "They don't actually care about the abortion issue. What they care about is winning elections. And what they know is that to win elections, you have to focus on wedge issues that we consider high-intensity low information."
Jolly then went on to define the GOP issues.
"Elections are not going to be decided over the nuances of our policy in Afghanistan, over fuel standards for vehicles," Jolly continued. "They've decided on these high-intensity low information wedge issues. So on abortion, Republicans don't want you to have access to them. On guns, Republicans want you to have it. They're going to tell you Democrats want to take it away. On COVID, Republicans are for your freedom, and on elections, Republicans don't want black and brown people voting because it hurts Republicans' chances to win. And that's it. That's all they're selling, and the thread that keeps all that together is the demonization of the Left and that Democrats are the evil actors that are going to disrupt those wedge issues for you."
And that is it. In other words, the Republican Party stands for nothing the average American citizen need. I provide some thoughts in the video that I think we should all consider for winning big.
Some may consider my suggested engagement naive. Living in a very red area in a "red" state made an excellent testbed for my suggestions. It isn't easy. But "It's Worth It," as I explain in my book by the same name.

Marie Pizano, author, producer, radio-TV host, and speaker, discusses ‘FINDING MY YES.’
Marie Pizano never takes no for an answer. She talks about her inspiring life and why and how everyone has the ability to succeed.
Marie Pizano provided a very inspiring interview. She leaves one with a can-do attitude. She used her life experience to illustrate how one can use their roadblocks as ladders. This applies to one’s personal life but also to our political life.
Marie Pizano was born and raised in Chicago. She moved to Memphis in 1999. She has served on the International Children’s Foundation boards, the Women’s Foundation for Greater Memphis, and The Commission on Missing & Exploited Children.
Pizano was co-founder of the Tiara Tea Society, chairperson for Go Red for Women, and created “ROCK FOR HOPE” for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. She is a devoted mother of two and very passionate about film, music, and community.
Marie Pizano is an author, producer, radio/TV host, and public speaker. She is building her life and her companies, MVP3 Entertainment Group and MVP3 Studios, on truth and integrity.
Pizano’s book, From Barefoot To Stilettos: Finding My Yes, is being made into a TV series, with Karyme Lozano (best known as an award-winning actress from Mexico) on board as a writer. She is also the author of From Barefoot to Stilettos. It’s Not for Sissies. Pizano donates 10 percent of her book sales to charities that raise awareness and funding for domestic violence and human trafficking survivors.
Intel is begging for Socialism, a perfect example of why our economic system is a thieving sham.
This piece by Leslie Stahl about Intel is one of the best segments she has done. These selected clips prove that our economic system is a fraud.
This is the second time I have seen this Leslie Stahl piece about Intel on the 60-Minutes program. Stahl interviewed Pat Gelsinger, the CEO of Intel. Leslie asked all the right questions and provided the necessary context. Here are some highlights that became evident from the discourse.
American Companies like Intel chose not to invest in manufacturing chips in America. Instead, they allowed foreign companies to use technology developed in America to be leveraged by foreign companies. To be clear, Intel and other high-tech companies derived their intellectual prowess from the investment by all American taxpayers in our education system and our research institutions. When companies do what Intel and others do, they are throwing away American investments.
Intel, like many other private companies, loves government cash, giveaways, and subsidies. Intel invests more in STOCK BUYBACKS than in research and development. In fact, instead of reinvesting their massive profits in their workers and research, they enhance the shareholders and executives. But, they want the government to invest in building factories in the United States. Doing so means the American taxpayer would be subsidizing more profits for the rich, the Intel shareholders & executives.
Companies like Intel generally invest in lobbying organizations to reduce their taxes. They generally balk anytime we attempt to help underpaid Americans with child care, family leave, and many other social programs. They balk at providing debt forgiveness even though student debt affords their shareholders the profits they generate on the cheap.
Intel makes it clear it has no problem with socialism for the corporation. When Americans understand the dynamics of our draconian economic system, they will eventually respond. At that time, they will start electing those politicians who have their interests at hand.
