Egberto, you wrote: "when economic promises fail and material conditions worsen, political myths lose their grip".

Tens of thousands dying strictly because they lack health coverage. Hundreds of thousands financially ruined via personal bankruptcies driven by medical bills. Rural hospitals closing. Health insurers denying urgently needed care. Yet I am still waiting for political myths to lose their grip.

Universal healthcare aka Medicare for All still has not gained anywhere near enough political traction. It's meshuga (crazy). Please help me here. What am I missing?

We, progressives must find an effective way to break the marketing of the Right with a consistent message and proof, IMHO

We have grown beyond the capitalist/national-state system. It doesn't work on a planet with finite resources when 1% of the population are psychopaths, and the system rewards psychopathic personalities.
