The supply chain problem is a corporate-sector self-inflicted wound.
They create the problems and we pay them to rob us. The corporate sector is entirely responsible for the supply chain problem.
When one watches the news, one gets the impression that the economy operates on autopilot. The media report the narrative that the corporatocracy would like Americans to believe. Is inflation unavoidable? Is there an oil shortage? Was the supply chain issues inevitable? Is the government responsible for these problems? Is the Russian/Ukraine war instrumental in high gasoline prices?
Understanding the economy is not difficult at all. We all have eyes, and we are participants in the economy. An inflation rate of 9.1% is entirely unjustified. We have the media that try to rationalize it. I am confident in my economic studies to make an absolute statement. Our inflation rate, gasoline, and most elevated prices are nothing more than corporate greed and legal fraud.
Here are a few facts.
Russian oil is still on the market, selling it at a discount to China and India. That means the war should have little effect on pricing. Prices for a barrel of oil should be falling. Counterintuitive? Yes, but true. By the way, have you had trouble finding gasoline or most of what you want? Inflation without real shortages is nothing more than greed by those with pricing power.
President Biden and government have little control over our economy post-stimulus. Greedy corporations raise prices because they know people have money and can take it for commodities they must have.
As I explained in the video, the corporate sector caused the supply chain issues, not the government. They chose to offshore our manufacturing. They chose just-in-time-inventory. They decided to pay politicians to limit their taxes and restrict our response to climate change, wars, pandemics, and more. They screw up, and we reward them with inflation that explodes their profit margins.
