For decades, the GOP has loaded us with debt (to benefit the rich). Colluding with corporate Dems, it has mired us in unwinnable wars (also benefiting the rich). Liberties? Only if we ignore the GOP's 50-year war on voting, weed, abortion, LGBT, and unions. For starters.
The GOP seems to espouse principles that align with Medicare for All, yet blocks M4A at every turn. Over a hundred Dems co-sponsor the Medicare for All Act in the House, and over a dozen in the Senate. In each chamber, not a single Republican has signed on. And then there's healthcare. As studies show, tens of thousands of Americans die needlessly each year for lack of universal healthcare, largely the result of GOP opposition.
